{"id":421291,"date":"2024-05-03T11:19:59","date_gmt":"2024-05-03T05:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=421291"},"modified":"2024-05-03T11:20:09","modified_gmt":"2024-05-03T05:50:09","slug":"imd-predicts-rainfall-across-ne-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2024\/05\/03\/imd-predicts-rainfall-across-ne-2\/","title":{"rendered":"IMD predicts rainfall across NE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted fairly widespread to widespread, light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorm &amp; lightning &amp; gusty winds over Northeast region.<br>In its bulletin on Thursday, IMD said fairly widespread to widespread, light to moderate rainfall accompanied with isolated thunderstorm &amp; lightning &amp; gusty winds (40-50 kmph) very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura during next five days.<br>Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam &amp; Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram &amp; Tripura on May 5-6 and isolated heavy rainfall over Sikkim on May 5, it added.<br>IMD mentioned that the rainfall is likely due to a cyclonic circulation that lies over northeast Assam in lower tropospheric levels.
