In a surgical operation done on a python for the first time in the state lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes for fractured cervical vertebrae.<br \/>\nThe operation was conducted by deputy director veterinary hospital Dimapur Dr. L. G. Zhimomi,  and assisted by veterinary assistant surgeon Dr. Asenuo Linyu,  with wildlife staff of Nagaland Zoological Park.
