{"id":42545,"date":"2008-12-21T01:13:41","date_gmt":"2008-12-21T01:13:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2008\/12\/21\/4th-naga-peace-summit\/"},"modified":"2008-12-21T01:13:41","modified_gmt":"2008-12-21T01:13:41","slug":"4th-naga-peace-summit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2008\/12\/21\/4th-naga-peace-summit\/","title":{"rendered":"4th Naga peace summit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/NMEATJWMCYGRSLTQJYFA.jpg>Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) convened the Naga Peace Summit IV at Chiang Mai, Thailand, with representatives of GPRN\/NSCN, NNC\/FGN and Naga National Workers People Support Group, Quakers, American Baptist, and Naga Church leaders, to strengthen the Naga Reconciliation process.<br \/>\nStating that several public events had taken place and brought people together in strengthening the Naga Reconciliation process since the Naga Peace Summit III, FNR in a press release said the Naga Peace Summit IV in Chiang Mai, had been a time of reflection and grounding.<br \/>\n\u201cThe reconciliation process continues to be a challenging and daunting task because it involves recognizing, acknowledging and overcoming how Nagas have profoundly wounded and hurt each other. For genuine reconciliation to be realized, Nagas have to honestly and nonviolently address our differences and to take the process as a time to begin healing from our trauma,\u201d FNR said.<br \/>\nInforming that not all Naga political groups were able to attend the Naga Peace Summit IV, FNR however urged all Naga political groups to stay in relationship with the reconciliation process.<br \/>\nOn the other hand, the forum affirmed the active participation of those groups that attended the Naga Peace Summit IV and appreciated their continued resolve and commitment to Naga Reconciliation.<br \/>\n\u201cThe Forum for Naga Reconciliation continues to struggle with how to manage<br \/>\nthe expectations of the people in order to achieve the common goal of reconciliation.<br \/>\nNaga Reconciliation is in the interest of all Nagas, hence we implore all Nagas to stay in relationship with each other so that we can all walk the road to reconciliation together,\u201d FNR added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) convened the Naga Peace Summit IV at Chiang Mai, Thailand, with representatives of GPRN\/NSCN, NNC\/FGN and Naga National Workers People Support Group, Quakers, American Baptist, and Naga Church leaders, to strengthen the Naga Reconciliation process.
