{"id":4255,"date":"2008-08-07T01:10:08","date_gmt":"2008-08-07T01:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2008\/08\/07\/nscns-respond-to-appeals\/"},"modified":"2008-08-07T01:10:08","modified_gmt":"2008-08-07T01:10:08","slug":"nscns-respond-to-appeals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2008\/08\/07\/nscns-respond-to-appeals\/","title":{"rendered":"NSCNs respond to appeals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>\u2018GPRN\u2019 regrets Mulatonu\u2019s threat <br \/>DIMAPUR, AUG 6 (NPN): Expressing regret over the death threat served to chief minister Neiphiu Rio, Home minister Imkong Imchen and State DGP J Changkija, by special envoy to collective leadership, \u2018NSCN\/GPRN\u2019, Kuhgalu Mulatonu, the \u2018NSCN\/GPRN\u2019 has declared Mulatonu\u2019s statement as \u201cnull and void.\u201d<br \/>MIP, \u2018NSCN\/GPRN\u2019 in a press release said a meeting of the council of kilonsers, after thorough deliberation and scrutinizing all pros and cons, also withdrew the \u201callegations\u201d against Rio and Changkija with effect from August 5, 2008. <br \/> \u2018NSCN\/GPRN\u2019 however said the chief minister has to bear all \u201comissions and commissions\u201d of his ministers and MLAs, and the DGP too should bear equal responsibility for \u201cthe high handedness, crimes and irregularities\u201d of his junior officers and jawans.<br \/>On the other hand, \u2018NSCN\/GPRN\u2019 charged Home minister Imkong Imchen with a number of anti-\u2018NSCN\/GPRN\u2019 actions and also questioned the Ongpangkong Mundang for challenging the \u201cintegrity\u201d of the \u2018NSCN\/GPRN\u2019 and defending the Home minister.<br \/>Stating some ministers and MLAs in Rio\u2019s government were campaigning against the unification among the Nagas, \u2018NSCN\/GPRN\u2019 warned that all \u201ccriminal activities\u201d of some ministers, MLAs, police\/IRB officers or jawans against the \u2018NSCN\/GPRN\u2019 would be treated on individual basis, and not condoned. <\/p>\n<p>NSCN (I-M) reacts to PAC<br \/>DIMAPUR, AUG 6 (NPN): Reacting to the statement of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of DAN appealing against banning of Sumi Hoho (SH) and Western Sumi Hoho (WSH), the NSCN (I-M) has questioned the credibility and impartiality of the PAC. <br \/>While terming PAC\u2019s statement as \u201ca conscience awakening message to the public on behalf of the state government,\u201d the NSCN (IM) in a press release issued by its MIP, accused PAC of being irresponsive to the situation.<br \/>The NSCN (I-M) asked where the PAC had been when many innocent civilians were killed like animals in Dimapur and houses of a particular tribe burnt down by members of the group who initiated and shouted \u201cUnification in the most demeaning manner.\u201d <br \/>Alleging that the PAC had not issued even a word of condemnation over such incidents, NSCN (I-M) asked \u201ctoday, where do they (PAC) collect the moral authority to lend its voice in favour of SH and WSH?
