Most of this decline is among conservatives, spurred by Republican charges of liberal bias from avowedly non-partisan outlets. Many Americans have even dubbed their mainstream left-liberal and corporate owned media as “the Imperial American media”. The American media have created their own truth by omitting facts and contradicting the narrative and building the fact that they support. They doctor their own polls in order to show the people that anyone opposed to their ideology cannot win. And the gullible people believed them. Such as till then until 2016 when Donald Trump convincingly deflated their egos and battered Hillary Clinton, the darling of the American media. Despite the reversal, the media focussed on Trump’s court cases and in the process buried underneath everything wrong that has been going on with Biden and his coterie. As of June 10, the media was showering Joe Biden with nine times more positive coverage than they gave Donald Trump over the same period. The media spent weeks talking about the low turnout at Trump’s Tulsa rally. Biden has not been able to draw a crowd as large as the one Trump’s worst rally. One of the reasons why the American media loves to hate Trump is because he did the unthinkable, the unforgivable when he waged his war on the media itself. Trump labelled major news networks as “fake news”. His onslaught against the biased American Imperial media was cheered by tens of thousands of people at his rallies, where he pointed them out as “the enemy”. At the June 27 debate, what the media has been hiding for four years was thoroughly exposed as Biden destroyed himself when he clearly showed that he was on the wrong side of 80. The recent revelations about President Biden’s ailment have sparked intense scrutiny and debate, particularly regarding the role of the American mainstream media. For months, major news outlets have been accused of downplaying or outright concealing the severity of Biden’s health issues. This lack of transparency is deeply troubling and raises critical questions about media integrity and accountability. The media’s primary responsibility is to inform the public with honesty and accuracy. When significant health concerns about a sitting president are hidden, it undermines public trust and prevents informed citizenry. The apparent reluctance to report on Biden’s condition suggests a bias that compromises journalistic standards. Now that Biden’s ailment has been fully exposed, it’s imperative for the media to reflect on its ethical obligations. The public deserves a free press that prioritizes truth over political expediency. Moving forward, it is time that American journalists ensure that they report facts transparently, regardless of political affiliation, to maintain their credibility and uphold democratic principles. In a time when trust in the American media is precariously low, it is crucial for news organizations to commit to greater transparency and accountability. Only by doing so can they restore public confidence and fulfil their essential role in America’s democracy.

Public trust in American media has plummeted since the 1990s and has over the decades, their opinions have become more cynical.
