{"id":43567,"date":"2009-02-25T01:11:11","date_gmt":"2009-02-25T01:11:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2009\/02\/25\/nsf-stand-on-length-of-service\/"},"modified":"2009-02-25T01:11:11","modified_gmt":"2009-02-25T01:11:11","slug":"nsf-stand-on-length-of-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2009\/02\/25\/nsf-stand-on-length-of-service\/","title":{"rendered":"NSF stand on length of service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Sticking to its gun, the Naga Students Federation (NSF) during its Federal Assembly held recently had resolved to stand by its earlier demand for fixation of the length of service of the state government employees at 33 years.<br \/>\nAlso, taking serious note of the non-implementation of the reservation for SC\/ST and indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland by various departments under the central government, the Federation reaffirmed its commitment to check and monitor recruitment under these departments. It cautioned the BSNL for \u201cvarious discrepancies\u201d in the department.<br \/>\nAccording to NSF speaker Cusayi Lohe, the Federation would also pursue its earlier resolution to fight against land encroachment in any educational institutions along with its federating units and subordinate bodies concerned.  On the issue of 33 percent reservation for women, the NSF has asked its executive council to constitute a committee to study the matter for further actions at the earliest.<br \/>\nRegarding the alleged difficulties faced by the Naga students in Manipur, the Federation urged the ANSAM to undertake an in-depth study and research and submit the report in the next Federal Assembly for further course of action.<br \/>\nIt further strongly condemned the abduction and subsequent cold blooded murder of Kasom Khullen SDO and two of his subordinates and urged for befitting punishment to the guilty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sticking to its gun, the Naga Students Federation (NSF) during its Federal Assembly held recently had resolved to stand by its earlier demand for fixation of the length of service of the state government employees at 33 years.
