{"id":436397,"date":"2024-08-02T01:27:10","date_gmt":"2024-08-01T19:57:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=436397"},"modified":"2024-08-02T01:27:14","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T19:57:14","slug":"cpo-appeals-participation-in-blood-donation-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2024\/08\/02\/cpo-appeals-participation-in-blood-donation-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"CPO appeals participation in blood donation camp"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To commemorate the 150th Year of formation of the Chakhroma Public Organization (CPO) this year, the sesquicentennial anniversary planning &amp; organizing committee has appealed to all Angami villagers, Churches and various communities and tribal organizations in Chakhroma area to come forward in large numbers on August 17, 2024 to take part in the blood donation camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In a press note, the planning &amp; organizing committee convener Dr Kevingulie Khro and secretary Sebastian Zumvu informed that the event jointly organized by CPO and Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research will be held at Rev Zhaviu Khro Memorial Hospital, near Saturday Bazaar, Ch\u00fcmoukedima, from 9 a.m. onwards. CPO said that the camp is being held to inculcate the habit of donating blood regularly by healthy citizens every four months since the blood in a healthy person will re-generate itself after 90 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>It will also create awareness that donating blood under expert medical supervision is quite safe.<br>CPO also said that this will instill in the mindset of the people that blood donation by healthy people can and will save precious lives in need of urgent blood transfusion.
