Platinum Park at Asangma village, Tuli, constructed under the initiative of Asangma Shisashir Telongjem Dimapur (ASTD), was inaugurated by Advisor for Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, A Pangjung Jamir on August 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to ASTD vice president, Moatemsu Imsong, the advisor in his speech, acknowledged ASTD for taking up the task of constructing a beautiful park which would be utilised by every age group of people.
He encouraged all the villagers to undertake such initiatives in the village to attract tourists in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Taking the example of the Assam Government who receives crores in revenue annually through tourist inflow at Kaziranga National Park, Panjung called on the community to utilise their picturesque natural surroundings for the good of tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also encouraged all gathered in the programme to be collectively responsible to keep the Platinum Park neat and clean at all times. Speeches were also delivered by Moatemsu Imsong, vice president, ASTD, Moalong, president, AST, R Jongponglolen, Tatar, Asangma Village council and S Bengdang Imsong, Park Construction Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Convenor of Park Construction Committee, I Sendong Jamir in his report mentioned that the building process began in September 2023.
