Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, who was recently seen in the superhero movie \u2018Deadpool & Wolverine\u2019, is drawing the line of difference between the parenting styles of the past generation and the current generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The actor shared that the way he processes his emotions has evolved over time, reports \u2018People\u2019 magazine. The \u2018Deadpool & amp; Wolverine\u2019 star, 47, spoke at HubSpot\u2019s Inbound tech conference in Boston where he revealed an impactful moment that helped him understand his emotions better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said, quoted by \u2018People\u2019, \u201cI took a workshop on conflict resolution, and that changed my entire life. I just didn\u2019t know how to process things that I felt. Because I (had a) scarcity mindset when I was younger. I didn\u2019t know how to unfold that thing in your brain that conditions you just always to win or be right\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per \u2018People\u2019, Reynolds said that working through his feelings was something he learned to do as an adult but the same isn\u2019t true for his children.
He said, \u201cI have 4 kids and so far, none of them seem to have that (scarcity mindset), partly because they were born on \u2018Easy Street\u2019\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cParents today are so different. We\u2019re so soft\u201d, he continued. \u201cI don\u2019t yell. I grew up with like, \u2018it was nuts\u2019, it was an improvised militia\u201d.
