Despite pressure from As\u00fcf\u00fc Christian Institute, Sech\u00fc Zubza FC held a solid defense to maintain their lead and claim a spot in the championship match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Rhitso Mero, whose goal sent Sech\u00fc Zubza into the final, was named Man of the Match. The award was presented by Medoviu Martin Suohu, Councillor of Ward 19, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), who served as the match patron. Entertainment during the event was provided by guest artistes Neila\u00fc and Methasieo Zhale, along with Litsuku Lohe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In a preceding quarter-final match that was postponed due to technical issues, Circle FC Chedema secured their place in the semi-finals by defeating Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) 2-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Goals from Daniel in the 43rd minute and Joseph in the 82nd minute ensured Circle FC\u2019s victory. Kekhrie Tsira of Circle FC Chedema was named Player of the Match, with the award presented by Vizokho Zash\u00fcmo, convenor of the 24th NSF Trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Principal Director of Health &amp; Family Welfare, E. Motsuthung Patton was the match patron, and Azi Rudy performed as the guest artiste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Second semi-final:<\/strong><br>The semi-final clash is now set between As\u00fcf\u00fc Football Academy (AFA) and Circle FC Chedema, on Thursday at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>As\u00fcf\u00fc Football Academy has had a commanding run in the tournament, defeating Kohima Sports Club 2-0 in their first match and Kuki Students\u2019 Organisation Nagaland 3-1 in the second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>They overwhelmed Orami FC 6-0 in the pre-quarterfinal and thrashed Michazou FC 7-0 in the quarterfinal.
