The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department will be organising the 7th edition of annual Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) on October 24 to test the capability of the state to respond to any event of disaster, simulating earthquake scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this connection, as a precursor to the NEPEx, an orientation and coordination meeting, conference will be held on October 9, by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with NSDMA, with the advisor NSDMA, Home Department and all the DDMAs in a virtual mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The link to attend the programme will be sent in due course of time before commencement of the programme. The AHoD\/HoDs concerned have been informed to attend the VC along with nodal officers of their Departments\/Directorates, and the DDMAs have been requested to attend the VC along with the DDMA members. On October 9, orientation and coordination conference with NDMA will be held with all DDMA chairman, AHoDs\/HoDs and nodal officers via video conference at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On October 22, Table Top Exercise (TTEx) will be held with all DDMA chairmen, concerned officers of line department (AHoDs\/HoDs) and other stakeholders such as NDRF\/SDRF\/paramilitary\/IAG members from 10 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On October 24, mock exercise (Physical Conduct) will be held where physical participation at all levels as per charter of duties\/responsibilities would be held from 9 a.m. at the respective districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, DDMAs have been asked to submit its report to NSDMA on October 30– to be submitted online as well as a spiral bound single document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
