In a heartwarming and music-filled Saturday, first-ever Children\u2019s Music Festival was held at Green Park, Chumoukedima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event, organized by Finding Hope Global in collaboration with TaFMA (Task Force for Music and Arts), brought together young talent, families, and music enthusiasts for a day of celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at the programme as chief guest, Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) director Theja Meru reminded the children that they were the future and leaders of tomorrow.
He encouraged the young musicians to commit to their dreams, adding that with determination, success was inevitable. \u201cStay positive, and the qualities within you will guarantee your success\u201d he added. Meru also lauded the parents for extending support to their children and their talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Special guest, musician, entrepreneur, and social worker, Akum Jamir, also reminded the children of the power of hard work and practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPersonality matters as much as talent\u2026Many can play music, but your personality will take you further,\u201d said Jamir. He encouraged the children to embrace originality, not be afraid of criticism, and above all, to have fun with their music. \u201cIt\u2019s not about winning, it\u2019s about enjoying yourself,\u201d he added. Jamir also advised the children to stay away from drugs and alcohol, citing Bob Marley\u2019s famous quote, \u201cLive the life you love, and love the life you live.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festival featured exciting performances by young artists from across different music academies, showcasing their talents on stage. The event was packed with activities, including a special performance by the band The Muse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
