{"id":453602,"date":"2024-10-31T01:43:20","date_gmt":"2024-10-30T20:13:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=453602"},"modified":"2024-10-31T12:47:57","modified_gmt":"2024-10-31T07:17:57","slug":"nagaland-hill-view-hss-celebrates-golden-jubilee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2024\/10\/31\/nagaland-hill-view-hss-celebrates-golden-jubilee\/","title":{"rendered":"Mokokchung Hill View HSS celebrates golden jubilee"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hill View Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung celebrated golden jubilee on Wednesday with Padmashree awardee T Senka Ao, as the guest of honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In his speech, T Senka Ao said Ao script came into existence with the coming of the American missionaries to Ao land and the establishment of a school by Lady Clark.<br>He also recalled how the brightest student during that time, Tongpangkokla went on to become the first teacher in 1882.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>This led to the establishment of the first formal private school in Mokokchung town in 1902 with Senlikaba of Longkhum village as the headmaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Since, then the educational sector has progressed, and at present 16 private schools have been functioning in the district, he said. Senka also released the jubilee souvenir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Meanwhile, proprietor and principal of the school Dr. Anungla Aier honoured the guest of honour and the special invitees. A special Cantata was presented by the students of School of Music under the proprietorship of Chubainla and the intercession was initiated by Asso. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pastor Women ABA, Amenla Amlari.
