The picture appears on gossip site TMZ.com.<br \/>\nThe site didn&#8217;t reveal how they obtained it however it is believed the photo is police evidence.<br \/>\nThe photo comes after several fake images circulated on the internet following the alleged battering.<br \/>\nEarlier this week Brown apologised, saying he was &#8220;sorry and saddened&#8221; and is seeking counselling.<br \/>\nThe singer was arrested for making criminal threats after the alleged incident last week, which occured hours before the Grammy Awards.<br \/>\nThe Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating and a spokeswoman for the LA District Attorney&#8217;s Office said a decision has not yet been made on whether to file charges.<br \/>\nCelebrity websites and magazines have reported the incident happened in Brown&#8217;s car shortly after he left a pre-Grammys party in Beverly Hills with Rihanna as his passenger.<br \/>\nIt has been reported Brown threatened to kill Rihanna and choked her until she was unconscious.<br \/>\nChris Brown&#8217;s record company has come under increasing pressure to drop him, while a wrestler in the states has invited Brown to fight him as a &#8220;real opponent.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first picture of a beaten and bruised Rihanna has emerged showing the facial injuries she received after allegedly being assaulted by boyfriend Chris Brown.
