Imchen, a Lance Naik from the 15 IR Mahila battalion has secured bronze medal at the 11th Commonwealth Karate Championships, held from November 28 to December 1 in Durban, South Africa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This remarkable achievement makes her the first individual from Nagaland to earn a medal at an international karate competition, bringing honor and laurels to the state and the nation as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Imchen has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill throughout her career, including her bronze medal win at the 8th South Asian Karate Championship earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Announcing her big win, the All Nagaland Karate-Do Association (ANKA) has extended heartfelt congratulations to Akumienla L. Imchen for the outstanding accomplishment and expresses gratitude for her role in elevating Nagaland\u2019s presence on the global karate stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The association also expressed gratitude to her coach, Temsu Sangtam of Logdrum Karate Club, Sangtamtilla, Dimapur, for his invaluable guidance and support. A special note of appreciation is also extended to ANKA President T.
