The inauguration began with an invocation prayer by Director Pastoral Centre Dimapur, Rev. Fr. Gravier Augustine and welcome address delivered by Dorothy.<br \/>\nParish Priest, Holy Cross Dimapur, Fr Chacko Karinthayil graced the program as chief guest. In his key note address, he stressed on the potentiality of education as a powerful mechanism for peace building; promoter, keeper and initiator.<br \/>\nHe aptly put the quotation of Maria Montessori, \u201cAvoiding war is the work of politics but promoting peace is the work of education\u201d and urged the participants to learn the art of co-existence in the midst of conflicts and tensions.<br \/>\nDirector, Peace Channel, Fr. C.P. Anto spoke on the \u2018Fundamentals of Peace Building and Conflict Resolution Methods\u2019.
