{"id":461254,"date":"2024-12-10T01:20:29","date_gmt":"2024-12-09T19:50:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=461254"},"modified":"2024-12-10T12:34:18","modified_gmt":"2024-12-10T07:04:18","slug":"dc-niuland-informs-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2024\/12\/10\/dc-niuland-informs-4\/","title":{"rendered":"DC Niuland informs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputy Commissioner, Nuiland has informed that tapping point of water supply for Niuland Town from Dadi River at Ghotovi village, and Water Treatment Plant, Ghotovi village has been prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In this regard, DC warned that anyone found trespassing would be treated as per Section 279 BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) wherein \u201cFouling water of public spring or reservoir\u201d was part of offences affecting Public Health, Safety, Convenience, Decency and Morals as per the BNS 2023 Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>DC informed that any offender caught would be penalized as per the provisions of the law with a fine of Rs 5000 for first offence, and with fine and imprisonment if found to be repeated.
