{"id":46204,"date":"2009-03-05T23:48:42","date_gmt":"2009-03-05T23:48:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2009\/03\/05\/peren-dcc-slams-neiba-ndang\/"},"modified":"2009-03-05T23:48:42","modified_gmt":"2009-03-05T23:48:42","slug":"peren-dcc-slams-neiba-ndang","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2009\/03\/05\/peren-dcc-slams-neiba-ndang\/","title":{"rendered":"Peren DCC slams Neiba Ndang"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Peren District Congress Committee (DCC) reacting over the resignation of former Congress leader Neiba Ndang and subsequent press statement by Peren DYC president, Hiar\u00fctlang and Peren AYC president Hangau demanding CLP leader and NPCC president to step down for their alleged failure to lead the party, has stated that their (DYC, AYC president) resignation and \u201cbadmouthing\u201d others have only reflected their own vested interests and lack of perseverance while in the party.<br \/>\nA joint press statement issued by Peren DCC president, Heling Zeliang; PCC secretary in-charge Peren district, Wizabo and 7th Peren ACCC president, Karangau maintained that Neiba Ndang might have resigned for the reason that he was denied Congress ticket during the last assembly election, which it said was decided upon by the Congress central high command.<br \/>\n\u201cThe choice of continuing to remain in the party or to leave the party is entirely up to them but blaming the party leaders to suit their selfish desire is uncalled for,\u201d the statement asserted.<br \/>\nThe Congress leaders while stating everyone knew Neiba Ndang\u2019s performance in his constituency during Assembly election and the amount of public support he had, claimed that he had failed to attend several party meetings and kept himself aloof from political activities.<br \/>\n\u201cWhen he failed on his own part and missed the party ticket, the NPCC President or CLP leader is not to be blamed for,\u201d the joint statement asserted.<br \/>\nFurther, it maintained that NPCC president, K. V.
