{"id":462976,"date":"2024-12-22T15:09:46","date_gmt":"2024-12-22T09:39:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=462976"},"modified":"2024-12-22T15:09:47","modified_gmt":"2024-12-22T09:39:47","slug":"members-announce-changing-ntpradaos-nomenclature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2024\/12\/22\/members-announce-changing-ntpradaos-nomenclature\/","title":{"rendered":"Members announce changing NTPRADAO\u2019s nomenclature"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A group of individuals claiming to be original members of the Nagaland Transparency, Public Rights Advocacy and Direct Action Organisation (NTPRADAO) and its legitimate office-bearers has announced changing the nomenclature of the organisation through a unanimous decision to a more public welfare, justice-oriented and broader concept NTPRADAO (People\u2019s Justice), with its operational headquarters in Dimapur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NTPRADAO (People\u2019s Justice) president Mhabemo Lotha in a press release said All India Anti-Corruption Organisation (AIACO) Nagaland chapter president S Richard Humtsoe attended the launch of the new nomenclature as the chief guest, along with DISHA member Hayithung Bill Lotha.<br>He asserted that the NTPRADAO (People\u2019s Justice) was the main, original and legitimate group, which even S Richard Humtsoe and Hayithung Bill Lotha acknowledged and recognized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With regard to expulsion of certain members, he mentioned that NTPRADAO (People\u2019s Justice) would not dwell further but stand by its December 17 statement signed on behalf of all office-bearers, advisers, core committee members (CCMs) and executive members by vice-president Y Andrew, secretary general L Chenithung, general secretary Thrijung Sangtam, secretaries Aputo Assumi, Raben Kikon, and K Khiamnuingan, advisers MT Naga, Meren Ao, and Chumdamo Lotha, and women coordinators Kitoli Sema, M Benny, and Asen Ao. He said the organisation was unaware of the involvement of a certain individual named Bill Lotha who was charged of repeated involvement in dubious activities and unethical practices by the illegitimate group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asserting that Bill was neither a member, nor an office-bearer\/adviser in the NTPRADAO (People\u2019s Justice), Mhabemo said he had no role in functioning of the organisation, a persona non grata and totally a non entity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further, he said the NTPRADAO (People\u2019s Justice) was not bothered and worried at all about factionalism\/groupism, as there are many instances of groupism even in national political parties, besides the numerous factions all over Nagaland. Terming the other group as illegitimate, he clarified that the NTPRADAO (People\u2019s Justice) held no grudges against them, as Christians, and brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mhabemo reiterated NTPRADAO (People\u2019s Justice)\u2019s collective and unanimous stand of charging the PHED of alleged misappropriation, embezzlement and siphoning off a major chuck out of the Mega Rs 1649.35 crore Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He disclosed that the organisation was mobilising public and preparing to launch a mass protest\/agitation and to push for their demands- resignation of PHE minister, immediate suspension of PHED principal secretary, and immediate filing of cases against former PHED chief engineers.
