Fr. Thomas Toretkiu, the associate priest of St. Peter\u2019s Parish Kiphire December 27 under the theme \u2018Transforming information into Knowledge.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The program began with the prayer led by Muling UPC. Student Union President Lesemew, while welcoming the gathering, said Fr. Thomas Toretkiu was the first among boys to be graduated from Pungro Village and to be ordained as the first priest from Pungro area. He described him as a priest of learned and experienced priest and the students are so privileged and honor to grace the occasion, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The grand general session was inaugurated in the presence of WRDO Sudanvito Justin, Kiphire &amp; Amahotor area commander of VG James, VCC Vongtokiu, DB Pehoto , Pastor PVBB Dr. W. Birimong, village leaders and students body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Rev. Fr. Thomas Toretkiu, in his address, said we are living the world of Meta AI, the Artificial Intelligent so we need to filter and analyse, whether these data that we find are useful, helpful or essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>He said people need to synthesis knowledge to extract and get best result. The deeper understanding and decision-making will depend on the information you get, adding that problem solving and critical thinking will depend on the sufficient knowledge which is called wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Others who spoke on the occasion were VCC Vongtokiu who encouraged the young to know God in their education. Nagaland HSLC Top-4 Tsiurile V. shared her journey and encouraged students to have a discipline, dedication and commitment to achieve one\u2019s goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Other highlights included oath taking, March past, special awardees and special song presented by College Students.
