Dr. Hans de Wit of Free University, Amsterdam awarding certificates to the participants of the bible study fellowship and Dr. Adela Mero, resource executive of Resource Centre as guest speaker.<br \/>\nExhorting the function Dr. Adela Mero maintained that bible (Gods\u2019 voice) was the \u201cmost powerful force\u201d and that one should receive God\u2019s word personally.<br \/>\nReferring to a survey and cross referring it to Naga society, where majority of \u201cAmericans\u201d was reported to spend at least two hours daily watching television, Dr. Mero said if one could spend that \u201ctwo hour\u201d on Bible study, it would make a difference in life.<br \/>\nShe added that \u201cas a Christian state we need to go in-depth into the bible study\u201d.<br \/>\nDr. Mero, also lamented that \u201cthere was no zeal and enthusiasm to drink the word of God in us.\u201d She, however, said that it was important to revive bible study and make it a part of life style.<br \/>\n\u201cIt is important to feed upon the word of God every day,\u201d Dr. Mero Added.<br \/>\nRev.Dr. Hans de Wit of Free University, Amsterdam and an important personality in the filed of Christian ministry world over, while speaking at the certificate awarding ceremony said that Bible was the \u201cbook of life stories\u201d and that Bible was the only adequate book which connects to any life.<br \/>\nSharing his thoughts on a brief visit to the state Rev. Dr. Hans, a Bible researcher and a specialist in Old Testament, observed that corruption and tribalism was one factor that was causing differences in the society. With regard to it he said that Catalyst of biblical studies can overcome all differences. \u201cThe text of the Bible can be a catalyst in becoming more of a human,\u201d he opined.<br \/>\nAloino centre, which conducts Bible study to all \u201cGod\u2019s people\u201d, Saturday awarded certificates to ten women from various fields.<br \/>\nThe other activities of the centre includes prayer ministry, counseling unit, publications of various Christian literatures, and also conducts vocational training through its \u2018Aloino women\u2019s unit\u2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aloino Centre \u2013 a centre of Christian ministry \u2013 on Saturday conducted an awarding ceremony of a ten week long \u2018Aloino women\u2019s bible study\u2019 here at 3rd mile, Chekiye village with Rev.
