MYO president Nyiwatho told Nagaland Post over phone that MYO shut down the sub-station Saturday around 6.30 a.m to protest the government\u2019s failure to provide additional power to Meluri power sub-station. MYO had earlier in a representation submitted to chief engineer, Power, served an ultimatum to the Power Department to install 1.6mva 33\/11 at the sub-station within October 17 failing which, the youth organization warned it would shut down the sub-station. Stating that the action of MYO had the full backing of all public of Meluri sub-division, MYO said the shut-down would continue till its demand was fulfilled.
