The event will be hosted by the PDSA in collaboration with the Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Nagaland\u2019s Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, KG Kenye, will be the special guest at the inaugural programme, while NPF Legislature Party Leader, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, MLA will attend as the guest of honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>PDSA president Nezosa Tetseo informed that around 1000 athletes from various areas, along with management officials, will participate in the event. Competitions will be held in track and field events, games, and Naga wrestling across different categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The meet will feature track events such as the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m, and 10,000m races, along with relay races and a mixed relay race. Field events will include discus throw, javelin throw, shot put, long jump, high jump, triple jump, and arm wrestling.<br>Team games such as football, volleyball, and basketball will also be part of the competition. In Naga wrestling, men will compete in the 90kg, 75kg, and 65kg categories, while women will compete in the 60kg and 50kg categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The tournament will feature several sponsored prizes as running\/seed money. The men\u2019s football champion will receive INR 3,00,000, (Late Soyie Doulo Memorial Trophy). The men\u2019s volleyball champion will be awarded INR 1,00,000, sponsored by Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, while the runner-up will receive INR 50,000, (Late Vezo Rhakho Memorial Trophy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The women\u2019s volleyball champion will be awarded INR 1,00,000, (Late M. Vero Memorial Trophy), while the men\u2019s basketball champion will receive INR 1,00,000, (Late Vekrosa Vero Memorial Trophy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The prizes for Naga style wrestling category for both men and women are sponsored by the VDB Union, Phek Block. The best-disciplined team will be awarded INR 1,00,000, (Late W.C. Krome Memorial Trophy), while the group champion will receive INR 2,00,000, (Late Vamuzo Memorial Trophy). Additionally, the official PDSA track suit is sponsored by M\/s S.
