Asungba Sangtam, organized by DCC Kohima here outside Congress Bhavan, NPCC president, Pusa alleged that the DAN government failed to contain law and order situation and that factional killings continued unabated in the state.<br \/>\nPusa pointed out that the state government always evaded the real issue on the Naga political problem saying that the issue was political in nature and not law and order. He said the government\u2019s reply meant that \u201cthe DAN government is giving license to kill\u201d and added \u201cthis is a divisive policy of the DAN government and deserved to be thrown out.\u201d<br \/>\nOn the state chief minister talking about \u201csovereignty\u201d, the NPCC President wondered as to how a chief minister could talk of sovereignty, when he had taken oath under the Constitution of India. Pusa said the CM should not continue to fool or cheat the people anymore.<br \/>\nINC candidate K. Asungna Sangtam asserted that an MP elected from a national party carried more voice and said he would continue to work for the people and complete the works which he had initiated during his tenure as MP in the 13th Lok Sabha, if elected.<br \/>\nLeader of opposition Chingwang Konyak was confident that the Congress-led UPA government would form the next government at the centre and that Asungba, if elected would hopefully get a ministerial berth in the next government.<br \/>\nCongress MLA Joshua Sumi, convener District Campaign committee alleged that the DAN during their six-year rule had misused the funds that had come from the union government.<br \/>\nIn his welcome address, convenor District level Campaign committee, Kohima, Sevotso Seyie called upon the people to come forward to defeat the \u201cmost corrupt DAN government\u201d in the entire country. Congress MLA, H. Chuba Chang also delivered a short speech.<br \/>\nEarlier, the function was chaired by president DCC, Kohima, Prasielie Pienyii, invocation prayer pronounced by K.
