{"id":470158,"date":"2025-02-10T02:06:16","date_gmt":"2025-02-09T20:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=470158"},"modified":"2025-02-10T02:06:25","modified_gmt":"2025-02-09T20:36:25","slug":"12th-nagaland-veteran-football-tournament-from-february-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2025\/02\/10\/12th-nagaland-veteran-football-tournament-from-february-11\/","title":{"rendered":"12th Nagaland Veteran Football Tournament from February 11"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 12th edition of Nagaland Veteran Football Tournament is scheduled to conduct from February 11 &#8211; 14 at Jalukie, Peren district to be hosted by Peren District Veteran Football Association (PDVFA) under the aegis of Nagaland Veteran Football Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>According to a DIPR report, advisor for Youth Resources and Sports Govt. of Nagaland, S Keoshu Yimkhiung, will grace the inaugural function as special guest, while general secretary Tenyimi Union Nagaland Dr. Tumda Newme, will grace the closing ceremony as the guest of honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Altogether, six teams consisting of Kohima, Dimapur, Niuland, Mokokchung, Mon and Peren districts will vie for the coveted title of the championship. Cash prize for the champion, cunner up and semi-finalists will be Rs. 50,000\/-, 30,000\/- and 10,000\/- (each for semi-finalist) respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The organizing committee requested all the participating teams to get registered by 4 PM, after which Team coach &amp; manager clinic will be conducted at 5 PM onwards. Lodging and foods will be provided by the host including mattress for the participants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further, all the participants have been requested to bring their own bedding and basic accessories.
