Palin, said that so far the cleft palate project was very successful and already more than 40 persons had gone for correctional surgery for the cleft lip and palate.<br \/>\nThe MD of the hospital also said that there could be about 4000 patients with cleft lip and palate in Nagaland and further thanked the Rotary Club Kohima and Putuonuo Nursing Home, Kohima, for all the help and also appealed to all the patients to come forward to avail the opportunity provided at the Shija Hospital, Imphal, under Smile Train Project Agency.<br \/>\nHe further said that the patients would be transported to Imphal and brought back free of cost and the treatment cost would be borne by the Smile Train Project Agency.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, the Rotary Club Kohima has appealed to all social workers, NGOs, media and the public in general to spread the news and help the unfortunate cleft patients to live normally and further asked to contact the Club or Rotarian Dr. Kedits\u00fc over mobile number-9436001870 for the free treatment.<br \/>\nAlso interacting with the media, Dr. Palin, said that Shija Hospital, Imphal, was running and operating daily, despite \u2018ban\u2019 imposed on private hospitals by particular \u2018underground outfit\u2019 in Imphal area , Manipur, since last one week.<br \/>\nHe said that the \u2018underground outfit\u2019 had imposed \u2018ban\u2019 on private hospitals while also alleging that they (private hospitals) employ government doctors for which they charges of medical and treatment were exorbitant.<br \/>\nWhen asked about the response of Manipur government on the imposition of the \u2018ban\u2019, Dr. Palin responded that the government was only concentrating on the elections. Mention may be made that Inner Manipur Lok Sabha seat goes to polls on April 22, while the Outer Manipur seat went to poll on April 16.<br \/>\nWe are 100 % private, says Dr. Kh. Palin<br \/>\nTalking to media person Tuesday at Putuonuo Nursing Home, Kohima, Dr. Kh.
