{"id":471514,"date":"2025-02-19T01:16:38","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T19:46:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=471514"},"modified":"2025-02-19T11:40:01","modified_gmt":"2025-02-19T06:10:01","slug":"dc-chumou-flags-unauthorized-activities-on-nh-29","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2025\/02\/19\/dc-chumou-flags-unauthorized-activities-on-nh-29\/","title":{"rendered":"DC Ch\u00fcmoukedima flags unauthorized activities on NH-29"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deputy commissioner (DC), Ch\u00fcmoukedima, Polan John, has cautioned against carrying out unauthorized activities on NH-29 such as quarrying, earth cutting, construction, setting up of temporary fruits &amp; vegetable stalls and other land-related operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DC stated that such activities posed a significant risk to the structural integrity of the highway and endanger public safety by increasing the likelihood of soil erosion, landslides, highway blockade, encroachments, subsidence and fatal highway accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In view of the above, DC has advised all individuals, village councils, and stakeholders to refrain from undertaking any of the unauthored activities in close proximity to NH-29 including lands within the RoW, which could adversely impact the stability and safety of the highway and its users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DC also urged all responsible to extend full cooperation in maintaining the durability of NH-29 and safety of all concerned. For further information or clarification, the DC office Chumoukedima may be contacted.
