{"id":471537,"date":"2025-02-19T01:27:08","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T19:57:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=471537"},"modified":"2025-02-19T11:17:03","modified_gmt":"2025-02-19T05:47:03","slug":"plea-for-classroom-extension-at-ghss-tobu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2025\/02\/19\/plea-for-classroom-extension-at-ghss-tobu\/","title":{"rendered":"Plea for classroom extension at GHSS Tobu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Konyak Union (KU) Tobu unit in a letter to Principal Director of School Education has sought for extension of classroom and appointment of economic teacher at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Tobu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a letter, the unit president, S.A.Ngamlao Konyak and general secretary, K Bechung Konyak said after GHS Tobu was upgraded to Government Higher Secondary School Tobu on July 14, 2022, the union took the initiative to provide the office Space for conducting classes due to lack of sufficient class rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, the union constructed two extra rooms through goodwill donations to support the institution. However from this academic session onwards, the union said that were unable to continue providing our office space leading to critical classroom shortage that is disrupting academic activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The union also highlighted that the Student enrolment from class 6 to 12 reached 526 in 2024, and for which additional class rooms was needed to accommodate the growing number of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The union also said that the Economic subject teacher resigned on August 30, 2024, and since then the students have been attending classes without a subject teacher for economics. This has significantly impacted their learning and academic progress of the students.
