GPRN\/NSCN (U) has a stern warning to its ousted general secretary N Kitovi Zhimomi, and advised him to focus on his personal affairs rather than resorting to baseless accusation and manipulative media tactics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strongly condemning Kitovi for his statement that appeared in Nagaland Post on February 12 under the caption \u201cKitovi accuses \u2018new\u2019 WC, NNPG of trying to delay solution\u201d, GPRN\/NSCN (U) in a statement accused him of disseminating deceptive information to the Nagas using lies with clever rhetoric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The group warned that failure to desist from such behaviours would result in the public disclosure of his past misdeeds with all the accompanying details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the group, the last nail on Kitovi was on April 21, 2024 when an \u2018Extraordinary Emergency National Hoho\u2019 summoned by president NB Neokpao had unanimously voted and denounced his leadership, impeaching and expelling him from the active national service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hence, the group maintained that the question of coup by the Naga Army did not arise.
Since his expulsion, GPRN\/NSCN (U) claimed that the government was maintaining maturity in the face of concocted statements he came up with to cover up his misdeeds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The group said under the collective leadership of Neokpao and ato kilonser Alezo Venuh it had wisely opted to rise above the petty behaviour and nature of Zhimomi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Having being ousted, the group asserted that Zhimomi had no authority to prolong the dispute concerning the Naga issue, and instead graciously concede and respect the leadership of the WC\/NNPGs already appointed by the co-conveners of WC, NNPGs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As trading barbs and retaliatory statements in the media only served to undermine one\u2019s credibility rather than showcasing maturity, the group said Kitovi would be better off embracing a peaceful public life instead of reaching out to media outlets to show relevance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
