The festival, known for celebrating Naga traditions, featured a variety of indigenous games and cultural exhibitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Among the highlights were traditional Naga games such as the spear throw, stilt bamboo walk, and identifying indigenous utility objects. Additionally, exhibitions showcased bamboo and wood crafts, including the making of Naga plates from bamboo, bamboo spoons, and machetes. Activities also included ululating and spelling competitions, adding to the cultural richness of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The final day of the festival promises fierce competition in various categories, including folk dance, folk song, indigenous cotton yarn extraction and spinning, and folk fusion performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Organized by Team Metamorphosis in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland, the Doyang Folk Festival aims to promote Naga indigenous traditions and highlight the scenic beauty of the Doyang River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The festival will conclude on February 28, with Deputy Secretary of the Department of Tourism, T. Lemlila Sangtam, NCS, as the Special Guest.
