Stadium, Hall-A, Meriema, Kohima, under the theme \u201cTrailblazing Innovations: Pioneering Innovations.\u201d The three-day event, organized by the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Nagaland University, aims to foster innovation, creativity, and technological advancement among students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Advisor for School Education and SCERT Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, graced the inaugural session as the chief guest, while Principal of Government Polytechnic Kohima Er. Keyiekhru Rhutso, delivered the keynote address. The event was attended by dignitaries, academicians, students from Government Polytechnic Kohima, and representatives from various student and church bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The ceremony began with an invocation by Pastor Lezo Huozha from Shalom Prayer Center, Meriema Basa, followed by a choir performance, \u201cGod\u2019s Many Blessings,\u201d presented by the Nagaland University Christian Fellowship (NUCF). The welcome address was delivered by TechAura 2024 convenor, Bendangyanger Jamir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Dean of SET-NU, Prof. Sujata Dash emphasized the importance of scientific curiosity among budding engineers, posing questions such as \u201cWhat if?\u201d and \u201cWhat is next?\u201d to encourage innovation. A cultural highlight of the event was the \u201cUnity in Diversity\u201d dance performance by SET-NU students, which drew inspiration from agricultural activities and the tribal Daminda dance of the Apatani tribe of Arunachal Pradesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Addressing the gathering, Dr. Yhome stressed the need for Naga society to embrace technological advancements and innovation through events like TechAura. He urged young minds to expand beyond cultural boundaries and adapt to rapid technological changes. Adding to the festivities, students from Government Polytechnic Kohima presented a song titled \u201cAahoh.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The theme speech, \u201cTrailblazing Innovations,\u201d was delivered by Er. Keyiekhru Rhutso, who motivated students with a quote by Arthur C. Clarke: \u201cThe only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.\u201d The ceremony concluded with a benediction by Paudinglungbe, President of the Evangelical Union, SET-NU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Following the inauguration, various competitive events were held, including Model Presentation, Robotics: Mud Race, Mental Math, Voice of TechAura, and E-Sports: MLBB.
