\nThe military wing of the \u201cGPRN\/NSCN\u201d in a statement said late Pochury was dragged away in the presence of his wife on October 17 mid-night from Electrical colony Kohima. It said the wife of late Pochury was assured of the safe return of her husband but instead recovered his dead body on October 19 after thorough search by police, relatives and neighbours.
\nThe \u201cGPRN\/NSCN\u201d said the NSCN (I-M) on October 17 had also attempted to kidnap Vikuto Rengma, Chairman, Rengma region, \u201cGPRN\/NSCN\u201d at taxi stand Kohima, but was foiled due to timely intervention of IRB patrol.
\nThe \u201cGPRN\/NSCN\u201d saluted its slain comrade and conveyed heartfelt condolence to the wife, relatives and family of the departed soul.
\nIt expressed profound gratitude to the colony people for their tireless efforts in the search and retrieval of the death body. It also thanked well-wishers, Pochury community, Churches etc for their prayer and support during the time of grief and pain.
