Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees\u2019 Association (CANSSEA) Monday expressed its full support to the recent directives issued by the state government concerning the conduct of government employees and the induction process for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a press release, CANSSEA president Zubemo Lotha Tsanglao and press secretary Siewatho Nyusou informed that at the first quarterly meeting held on March 13, 2025, executive body of the association deliberated on various issues related to the welfare of state government employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the meeting, CANSSEA expressed support to the state government\u2019s March 5, 2025 office memorandum, which strictly prohibited government employees from engaging in private sector employment or trade, either directly or indirectly. CANSSEA said it decided to fully support the state government\u2019s decision and urged all government employees to adhere to the directive for strict compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The association\u2019s executive body also discussed the state government\u2019s vacancy circular dated March 10, 2025, regarding the induction and selection process for one IAS cadre post from eligible officers serving under the state government of Nagaland, excluding those from the state civil service, state police service, state forest service, and state judicial service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CANSSEA commended the state government for introducing \u201ca transparent eligibility criterion\u201d for the selection process. It expressed belief that the government\u2019s decision would help maintain the credibility of the prestigious IAS cadre and provide deserving non-state civil service officers with an opportunity for career advancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Further, extending support to the state government\u2019s decisions, CANSSEA reminded the authorities about unresolved issues raised by the Core Committee for IAS Induction, which includes CANSSEA, FONSESA, NSSA, and NF&ASA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The association has urged the state government to address those concerns at the earliest in the interest of natural justice. CANSSEA affirmed its commitment to supporting the welfare of state government employees while ensuring compliance with government policies and maintaining the integrity of the IAS induction process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
