{"id":477067,"date":"2025-03-24T02:25:49","date_gmt":"2025-03-23T20:55:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=477067"},"modified":"2025-03-26T11:20:08","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T05:50:08","slug":"health-workers-trained-on-rimin-mokokchung","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2025\/03\/24\/health-workers-trained-on-rimin-mokokchung\/","title":{"rendered":"Health workers trained on RIM in Mokokchung"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">District level training on Routine Immunization Manual (RIM) for Health Workers was held on March 19, 2025 at the Chief Medical Officer\u2019s conference hall in Mokokchung.<br>Resource persons of the training were DPO (UIP &amp; RCH), Dr. Limanaro, Consultant WHO (RRT), Dr. Mhechekhro Mero and Achila C VCCM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>SIO, directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima, Dr. Imkong Temsu Longchar, presented an overview of the training. He urged health workers to adapt and innovate to achieve 100% vaccination coverage, focusing on zero-dose vaccination. He also highlighted the importance of headcount surveys, uploading, and reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>DPO (UIP &amp; RCH), Dr. Limanaro, Consultant WHO (RRT), Dr. Mhechekhro Mero and Achila C VCCM covered topics on the roles and responsibilities of health workers in routine immunization, RI micro planning, safe injection practices, IPC and BMW, conducting RI sessions, AEFI, cold chain, U-Win, and VPD surveillance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The training, aimed at CHOs, GNMs, LHVs, and ANMs, continued till March 20, 2025 for Senior Medical Officers, Medical Officers, and DPMUs. Trainees also participated in pre- and post-tests.
