Later the Police identified the accused as one Nikiya Aye, 32 Suruhoto Village, Zunheboto district and now lodged in the South Police station, Kohima, Police added.<br \/>\nMYO called off protest<br \/>\nDIMAPUR: In regard to the power shut down of three districts, Phek, Tuensang and Kiphire, Meluri Youth Organisation (MYO) has called off the protest last Sunday as the government has assured to fulfill its demand. MYO president, Nyiwatho told Nagaland Post over phone that Electrical SDO, Phek, Ritachu on behalf of Chief Engineer (Power) on Saturday assured to fulfill MYO&#8217;s demand before October 30 failing which the government will be responsible. It may be mentioned that last Saturday, MYO shut down the 132kv Meluri power sub-station in protest of the government&#8217;s failure to provide additional power to Meluri power station.<br \/>\nNaga Idol voting round from today<br \/>\nDimapur: The voting round for the Naga Idol 3.08 is starting from October 22 and will continue till October 29. Voting card will be available from the district outlets listed in the videos that are telecast at the usual timing.<br \/>\nAG office notifies<br \/>\nDIMAPUR: Office of the Accountant General (Audit), Nagaland, had informed that henceforth no visitors would be allowed to enter AG office, Kohima, without photo identity card. Accounts officer (Admn), AG office Kohima, in a press release requested all visitors to AG office to carry their ID cards in the public interest.<br \/>\nBSI releases Anal Naga Bible<br \/>\nDIMAPUR: Bible Society of India (BSI), Dimapur Auxiliary October 19 released Anal Naga Bible at Maha union government higher secondary school ground, Chandel, Manipur by Rev. Dr. Z. K. Rochill Auxiliary secretary. Anal Bible which is the first Naga Bible to be released in Chandel district sold 3000 copies of Bible altogether on the day of release. More than 4000 people attended the occasion with enthusiasm. Anal Naga Baptist Association (ANBA) which paid Rs.2, 98, 400 before the Bible was released. Meanwhile, a total of Rs.20, 716 was collected for BSI ministry while Rev. S.R. Onesemas Executive Secretary ANBA expressed deep appreciation to BSI ministry on behalf of Anal Naga community for providing God&#8217;s Word in their mother tongue.<br \/>\nLiangmai Union greets<br \/>\nDimapur: Liangmai Union Nagaland has greeted Zeliangs on the forthcoming Chega Gadi festival which is to be held on October 30 and 31. The union hoped that he will make it till the end of contest.<br \/>\nSP Kohima informs<br \/>\nDIMAPUR: Superintendent of police, Kohima has informed all candidates who have applied for the recruitment to the post of constable (GD) 14th NAP (IR) to reach the police new reserve ground Phesema by 7am on October 23 for physical, Medical and Outdoor test along with their original documents to be produced before the recruitment board and the eligible candidates will be issued ID card and chest number from the venue from October 23. The STBC planning secretary has appreciated the parliamentary secretary for IPR and economic and statistic R. Tohanba for bringing developmental activities in the areas for the welfare of the public. The release also lauded the commandant 3rd NAP Tuensang and deputy commissioner, Tuensang for initiating the needs of the public and hoped that they would continue to work towards the welfare of the society.<br \/>\nUDLC holds meet on BRGF Wka<br \/>\nDIMAPUR: Urban District Level Committee (UDLC) on Backward Region Grand Fund (BRGF) for Wokha held a meeting on October 17 to discuss the BRGF scheme implementation under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, A. Wopen Lotha and Chairman, Wokha Town Council, Wopenthun as the Member Secretary. Official release stated that the committee approved the following Schemes such as footstep, drainage, community hall, and construction of rostrum at town playground, construction of scientific slaughterhouse and repair and renovation of town hall with sound proofing.<br \/>\nANSTA condoles<br \/>\nDimapur: The All Nagaland School Teachers Association (ANSTA) has expressed sorrow and has condoled the sudden demise of Late Hotoi Sumi Primary Teacher of GPS Yeveto on October 3, in this respect has appealed to all members to contribute Rs.20 each for relief to the bereaved family.
