Selena Gomez is releasing her lost track \u2018Stained\u2019 – adding it as a bonus track to her new album \u2018I Said I Love You First\u2019 nine years after she first shared a snippet with fans.
The 32-year-old actress-and-singer first shared a snippet of the track with fans back in 2016 following the release of her album \u2018Revival\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the song never got an official release and was only available to listen to via a leak online. In a post on Instagram, she wrote: \u201cEight years later and you guys never forgot about this song. Your love for \u2018Stained\u2019 has never gone away and I wanted to do something special to say thank you for all the love and support on the album.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Selena is also dropping a special edition of her new album – titled \u2018I Said I Love You First \u2013 Explained: Narrated by Selena Gomez\u2019 – which features the singer explaining each song\u2019s origin and how she and her producer fianc\u00e9 Benny Blanco created the tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a subsequent post on Instagram, Selena wrote: \u201cBenny and I made so many amazing memories throughout the process of creating our new album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI wanted to let you guys in on some of those stories and the making of these songs. \u2018I Said I Love You First \u2013 Explained: Narrated by Selena Gomez\u2019 is available for digital download on my official store now!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Selena and Benny – who got engaged in December 2024 after dating for two years \u2013 created the album together and she recently thanked him for pouring his \u201cunconditional love\u201d into the project,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In another social media post, she wrote: \u201cBenny, thank you for being my own personal journal throughout this process.
