{"id":478,"date":"2021-08-18T04:55:32","date_gmt":"2021-08-18T04:55:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/?p=478"},"modified":"2021-08-18T04:55:41","modified_gmt":"2021-08-18T04:55:41","slug":"tpo-resolves-to-protect-naga-history-identity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/08\/18\/tpo-resolves-to-protect-naga-history-identity\/","title":{"rendered":"TPO resolves to protect Naga history, identity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">KOHIMA, AUG 16 (NPN): Tenyimi People\u2019s Organisation (TPO) has declared that it would stand firmly on the issue of Naga national flag as it symbolised identity and proud history of the Naga people.<br>In a press statement, Tenyimi People\u2019s Organisation president Timikha Koza and secretary Vipopal Kintso said that the TPO adopted a resolution at the executive council meeting on August 14, on affirming to protect the history and identity of Naga people.<br>The organisaiton also welcomed the decision of the political parties in Nagaland to come together to jointly facilitate \u201cthe Indo-Naga peace process\u201d and work to expedite the long-anticipated solution to the Naga issue.<br>TPO also urged upon political leaders and elected representatives to work sincerely for the future good of Naga people by rising above individual gains and party politics.<br>It also expressed anguish at the plight of Nagas in Eastern Nagaland (Myanmar), who were living in fear and forced to leave their homes because of military repression.
