The annual sports and games of St. John School Kiusam Town (SJSKT) was inaugurated on April 4, by Kiusam Town EAC, Wetso Lasushe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a distinguished gathering of DBs, GBs, pastors, public leaders, and parents, marking the beginning of a vibrant two-day sports extravaganza at the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Addressing the gathering, Wetso Lasushe encouraged the students to give their best in all their performances, highlighting the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and fair play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that the spirit of sports is not solely about winning or losing, but about the joy of playing, learning, and growing together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wetso further stated that the participation in sports should promote values such as friendship, discipline, and the sharing of experiences. He called on the students to maintain a competitive spirit while keeping in mind the larger lessons sports impart. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wetso further expressed his gratitude to the school staff, parents, and public leaders for their continuous support in the education of children, who are the future builders of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was filled with excitement and energy as the students and attendees enjoyed a variety of activities, including the unfurling of the school flag, a march past, lighting of the sports torch, drill display, speeches, and special performances from the tiny tots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The cultural performances, remix dance, and oath-taking ceremony added to the festive atmosphere. The sports event began with an exhibition match between the special invitees and the school staff, kicking off the much-anticipated sports activities for the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
