All Nagaland Electricity Field Workers Association (ANEFWA) has called off its proposed phase-wise agitation that was scheduled to begin April 14, following a meeting with Power minister KG Kenye and senior officials of Power department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANEFWA <\/strong>president Vethinu Kezo<\/strong>, general secretary Vemesa Kera, and vice presidents Bokaho Sema and Wenlao Konyak expressed gratitude for the positive outcome and assurances received during the meeting. The association expressed hope for timely finalization of the assurances discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It may be recalled that ANEFWA, in a letter to the E-in-C, reminded of the ultimatum submitted on February 10, 2025 and its subsequent developments. ANEFWA expressed regret that despite assurance being made during the joint meeting on March 5, 2025, nothing has materialized, which it maintained displayed \u201cthe passivity of the authorities concerned.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
