Motsuo Ngullie, the university’s first Vice Chancellor.

In a press statement, the Pro-Chancellor of the university, Dr. Utkarsh Sharma, firmly denied the accusations, stating that the university does not promote Hinduism, but upholds the principles of interfaith education.

To further illustrate its inclusive academic vision, Dr. Sharma announced that the university is working on a 20-volume “World Encyclopedia of Christianity in Nagaland”, adding that the encyclopaedia will comprehensively document Christianity’s origins, development, theological trends, and cultural impact in Nagaland. The first volume is scheduled for release within a month, and will be available for review by the press and public, he said.

Dr. Sharma clarified that Dr. M. These documents, Dr. Sharma noted, were available with the State Government.

He also stated that Dr. Ngullie claimed to be the most qualified person and resisted the appointment of Dr. K.C.
