Rio Memorial Men\u2019s U19 Inter-District Cricket Tournament 2025 with a hard-fought 3-wicket win over Wokha in the semi-final held at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Ch\u00fcmoukedima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>A disciplined bowling effort followed by a composed chase ensured Kohima\u2019s progression to the tournament\u2019s grand finale. Opting to bat first, Wokha found it difficult to build partnerships and were bowled out for 106 runs in 30.1 overs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Yantsothung S Humtsoe provided a brief spark with 28 runs off 28 balls, but the rest of the lineup failed to contribute meaningfully. Kohima\u2019s bowlers maintained tight lines throughout the innings. Jeetender top-scored with a patient 32 off 85 balls, but regular wickets disrupted the innings. Dimapur\u2019s bowlers kept things tight and effective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samir Ali continued his impressive tournament form, taking 4 wickets for 14 runs in 7.3 overs, while Medempok Pongen delivered an economical and clinical spell, finishing with 3\/15 in 9 overs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In reply, Dimapur chased down the target steadily, reaching 114\/4 in 35.4 overs.
