It is imperative to reflect on the theme of this year.<br>\u201cAnimal Health takes a team\u201d, This year\u2019s theme, could not be more timely or relevant In Our ever-changing world- where animal, human and environment health are so deeply intertwined- it has become clear that no single individual or profession can go it alone. The health of animals is not just the responsibility of veterinarians. It is a collective effort that involves veterinary nurses, technicians,<br>animal handlers, farmers, researchers, public health officials, environmentalist and policy makers. Together, we form a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to one health.<br>As veterinarians, we are often at the forefront &#8211; diagnosing diseases, performing surgeries, preventing outbreaks. But behind every success story is a team that works tirelessly in the background. A team that ensures animals are fed, protected, understood and respected. And today, we celebrate that team.<br>We must continue to foster collaboration across sectors, across disciplines and across borders.
