A former Kumite Warrior\u2019s Hunt Fight League Champion, Angami\u2019s victory has earned him a place in the semi-finals of the Aturto 8-Man Featherweight Grand Prix. He will face New Delhi\u2019s Nilesh Chaudhary in August, with the Grand Prix final scheduled for December, where the first-ever Aturto Featherweight Championship Belt will be awarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the semi-professional bantamweight category, Goodwin Ningshen showcased impressive ground control and effective takedowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite his strong performance, Ningshen was edged out by Assam\u2019s Pankaj Das from Dojang mixed martial arts via a contentious split decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
