Jenangsanger Kosasanger Pusu Menden Ungma celebrated the Moats\u00fc Festival at Imlang Aonglenden Ungma on May 2, 2025, with traditional performances, insightful discussions, and reflections on cultural preservation and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The celebration was graced by L. Chubaonen Lkr., director of Soil and Water Conservation, as chief guest, with Nagaland Legislative Assembly speaker Sharingain Longkumer also gracing the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his address, Chubaonen underscored the importance of continuous learning, stating that true knowledge evolves with experience and time. He reflected on the role of festivals as cultural institutions, where folk songs, dances, customs, and values were once passed down by forefathers. He urged the present generation to embrace technology as a tool for cultural preservation, rather than merely for convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking on agriculture and environmental sustainability, Chubaonen advised farmers to use chemical fertilizers wisely, balancing their benefits and drawbacks. He emphasized public health consciousness and encouraged individuals to be mindful of the food they consume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
