The GPRN\/NSCN (Unification) has strongly refuted a viral news item circulating across social media platforms, which claimed that the group has invited members of the GBs\u2019 association and its constituent frontal organizations within Aghunaqa area, Niuland district, to attend a meeting a meeting convened by the GPRN\/NSNC (U) on May 10 at Kukami Hohoki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement issued through its MIP, GPRN\/NSCN (Unification) led by its president \u2018gen.\u2019 (Retd.) MB Neokpao Konyak and ato kilonser Alezo Venuh, has categorically clarified that the term \u201cUnification\u201d has no connection or relevance whatsoever with N. Kitovi Zhimomi from the day he disowned the term \u201cUnification\u201d from the Naga revolutionary movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
GPRN\/NSCN (Unification) said Kitovi, on multiple occasions, clearly stated that many factions had sprung out of the Unification. Whereas, MIP said Kitovi had ignored his own responsibility for all these outcomes and rather stated that he preferred to rename his faction as GPRN\/NSCN (Kitovi-Mhathang).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Therefore, MIP stated that it was absolutely clear the Naga people must not remain confused, especially in light of Kitovi\u2019s own confession and rejection of the very foundation he once stood on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this regard, GPRN\/NSCN (Unification) appealed to the Naga people in particular and Government of India in general not to confuse the GPRN\/NSCN (Naga Unification) led by president MB Neokpao Konyak and ato kilonser Alezo Venuh with GPRN\/NSCN (Kitovi-Mhathang) faction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
