Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) of Pughoboto honored three schools for achieving 100% results in the HSLC 2025 examination at its monthly meeting held on May 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to DIPR, the schools -Government High School Lazami, New Foundation School, and Mission School\u2014were recognized for their dedication to academic excellence and their contribution to improving education in the subdivision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the meeting, the board discussed the SDPDB Educational Trust Fund, which provides free admission for students from Class 9 to 12 at Pughoboto Higher Secondary School to encourage higher enrollment and quality education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chairing the meeting, chairman SDPDB Pughoboto, Dr. Sukhato A Sema stressed the need to operationalize the SBI Pughoboto branch for better financial access. He urged government departments to transfer accounts to the local branch and encouraged banks to promote the Senior Citizens\u2019 Savings Scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also introduced the Carbon Credit Program, urging individuals and forest reserves to register and access funds for sustainable forest conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SAKK president raised concerns over student accommodation during board exams, as Pughoboto town is the only HSLC exam center in the subdivision. Dr. Sema assured attendees that hostel construction for boys and girls is underway under the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The board also addressed agendas such as – land patta applications for government departments; office relocations to the new Administrative Complex by May 2025; infrastructure projects, including the SDO (PHED) Office, residential quarters, and a new Veterinary Health Centre at Lazami.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
