The drills simulated air strike scenarios and tested emergency response systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Mokokchung:<\/strong> In Mokokchung, the drill simulated incoming air raids, with sirens activated to alert residents. State War Room officials provided hourly updates to the DGCD Control Room in New Delhi, ensuring real-time coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Wokha:<\/strong> In Wokha, a fire emergency drill was tested the district\u2019s disaster response capabilities. The exercise resulted in the rescue of nine injured individuals, who were treated on-site before being transferred to the District Hospital. One fatality was confirmed in the simulation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The drill was jointly coordinated by the District Task Force and involved multiple departments, including Fire &amp; Emergency Services, Police, Medical Teams, DDMA, Home Guard &amp; Civil Defence, and SDRF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Emergency teams successfully extinguished the simulated fire, while rescue operations were led by Home Guard, Civil Defence, and NDRF teams, ensuring a well-coordinated response to disaster scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Phek: <\/strong>A mock drill was conducted in Phek to prepare for a potential air strike. The alert siren was sounded at 4:00 pm from the DC office building, marking the start of the exercise. DC Rhosietho Nguori served as the responsible officer, while the District Commandant, Home Guard, Civil Defence &amp; SDRF led the operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Mon:<\/strong> In Mon town, an air raid scenario unfolded with the District Commandant\u2019s Office catching fire. Rescue teams retrieved two dead bodies, while two individuals were seriously injured, four wounded, and two with minor injuries. A blackout siren was sounded at 6:30 pm, followed by a two-minute power shutdown led by DDMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Tuensang:<\/strong> At Parade Ground Tuensang, an extensive exercise took place, with search and rescue teams, makeshift hospitals, and relief camps. DC Office and a petrol pump were designated incident sites. A two-minute blackout at 6:30 pm followed the drill. DC Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa praised participants for their swift response and coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Peren: The mock drill in Peren simulated air raid damage at the DC\u2019s Office. Emergency teams rescued three individuals, while two deaths and five serious injuries were reported. DC Peren appreciated the coordinated response.
