{"id":487722,"date":"2025-05-17T00:09:14","date_gmt":"2025-05-16T18:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=487722"},"modified":"2025-05-17T12:12:45","modified_gmt":"2025-05-17T06:42:45","slug":"dialysis-unit-inaugurated-at-district-hospital-mon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2025\/05\/17\/dialysis-unit-inaugurated-at-district-hospital-mon\/","title":{"rendered":"Dialysis Unit inaugurated at District Hospital Mon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputy Commissioner Mon, Wennyei Konyak inaugurated the Dialysis Unit at District Hospital, Mon on May 15, under the aegis of Government of Nagaland and Department of Health &amp; Family Welfare, funded by Indian Oil Company (IOC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>A press release by Media Coordinator, NHM, Mon, Leeyan Chemshy, stated that the DC in his speech said that availability of vital renal care for Mon residents which would significantly cut down on patient traveling to Dimapur. He stated that there would be high volume of patients because of high prevalence of chronic kidney disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Konyak expressed gratitude to Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland, and IOC for improving Mon\u2019s healthcare services, and assured to provide any assistance the center would require in the near future. He also urged the staff members in charge to utilize the facility to its fullest potential for the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Medical Superintendent DH Mon, Dr. Aman Konyak, expressed joy, and shared that the new dialysis unit would have three beds and four machines, managed by a surgeon, qualified nurses, and a technician.
