Pongshi Phom, with the presence of B. Bangtick Phom, MLA on May 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>In his address, Pongshi Phom urged all Heads of Departments to be sincere in their duties and remain present at their respective postings. He also called for better coordination by keeping both MLAs informed of departmental projects and schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>According to a DIPR report, the board recommended the establishment of an EBRC hall at Bura Namsang, forwarding the proposal to the concerned department. The proposal for upgrading Government Middle School Shamkang to a High School was deferred, with the District Education Officer tasked to present a detailed report in the next meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Phom emphasized that HoDs must attend district-level meetings personally and not send representatives, as direct participation is essential for meaningful discussions. A sensitization booklet on Registration of Births and Deaths was launched by Pongshi Phom and the DC during the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The District Sports Officer informed the board that Longleng will host the 35th Taekwondo Championships in July and requested support from all departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The Department of Evaluation presented its activities via PowerPoint, while the Department of Labour was entrusted to present in the next meeting.
