{"id":488435,"date":"2025-05-22T00:45:57","date_gmt":"2025-05-21T19:15:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=488435"},"modified":"2025-05-22T00:45:59","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T19:15:59","slug":"mohua-launches-women-for-trees-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2025\/05\/22\/mohua-launches-women-for-trees-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"MoHUA launches \u2018Women for Trees\u2019 campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has launched the \u201cWomen for Trees\u201d campaign under the AMRUT Mitra initiative, aimed at promoting climate resilience and increasing greenery in heat-affected urban areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The campaign will be carried out in collaboration with DAY-NULM and will be led by Self Help Group (SHG) women.<br>The initiative will take place in two phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Phase I: Site Visits (May 21\u201323, 2025)<br>Over 50,000 SHG women will visit designated plantation sites, including Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), water bodies, parks, and government lands. These visits will help them understand urban greening strategies and prepare for the plantation drive.
